I'm not so sure that having read Carso...Hi Peter--<br /><br />I'm not so sure that having read Carson's book is such a bad thing. I have great respect for Dr. Carson (looooove his "Exegetical Fallacies" and "Matthew" in <i>The Expositor's Bible Commentary</i>. So his perspective is valuable, even if Dr. McKnight points out that it is limited.
